The American ambassador in Tirana, Yuri Kim

The American Embassy in Tirana has given a message about US-Albania diplomatic relations, after the documentary aired last night.

In the documentary, Ambassador Yuri Kim stated that diplomatic relations transcend any government, leader or person.

Kim emphasized that the US-Albania bond is so strong that it cannot be broken.

“100 Vjet Bashkë: Në nder të 100-vjetorit të marrëdhënieve diplomatike mes Shqipërisë dhe Shteteve të Bashkuara, ambasada e SHBA në Tiranë organizoi mbrëmjen e djeshme shfaqjen e premierës së një dokumentari të veçantë që përkujton historinë e marrëdhënies. Midis të ftuarve ishin zyrtarë aktualë dhe ish-zyrtarë, politikanë, akademikë, sipërmarrës, përfaqësues fetarë, ushtarakë, media, shoqëri civile dhe të rinj.

“Shpresoj të bindeni edhe më shumë se lidhja mes vendeve tona është e veçantë, e fortë dhe do të zgjasë. Është një lidhje që kapërcen çdo qeveri, udhëheqës apo person. Është një lidhje mes dy popujve me besimin e përbashkët në liri, demokraci, prosperitet dhe drejtësi. Është një lidhje që nuk mund të thyhet”, thotë në dokumentar ambasadorja Yuri Kim.
