The State Police has taken strict security measures by establishing the "Security Perimeter" to guarantee order and security during the EU Summit that will be held today in Tirana.

The Anti-Explosive Unit of the Elite Renea Ward in cooperation with the Guard of the Republic, have carried out detailed checks within the narrow security perimeter.

All the measures taken are within the framework of the EU summit that will take place today in Tirana.

Blocked axes will be:

- "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard, from Dajti bridge to "Mother Teresa" Square;

-Bulevardi “Bajram Curri” nga kryqëzimi me rrugën e “Elbasanit” deri te kryqëzimi me rrugën “Ibrahim Rugova”;

-Rruga “Papa Gjon Pali II” nga ETC-RTSH-Stadium;

-Rruga “Dervish Hima”;

-Rruga “Asim Zeneli”;

-Rruga “Themistokli Gërmenji”, pranë rrugës së Elbasanit dhe te kryqëzimi afër rrugës “Papa Gjon Pali II”;

-Rruga “Ismail Qemali”, nga kryqëzimi i Liceut deri te rruga e “Elbasanit”.

-Rruga “Mustafa Matohiti”, pranë shkollës “Kosova”;

-Rruga “Jul Variboba”, pranë postës, në rrugën e Elbasanit dhe rrugën “Papa Gjon Pali II”;

-Rruga “Fatmir Haxhiu”, te ETC;

-Rruga “Lekë Dukagjini”, nga sheshi “Frederik Shopen”, deri te stadiumi “Air Albania” dhe përreth stadiumit;

-Rruga “Skerdilajd Llagami”

-Rruga “Faik Konica”.

-Ndalim të qarkullimit të automjeteve do të ketë edhe në aksin rrugor;

-Rinas - Kashari Overpass - "Durrës - Tirana" Highway - Former "Shqiponja" Square - Tirana Ring Road - Sauk Roundabout - Roundabout near the Police Academy - Brigade Palace - "Student" City Roundabout, until the intersection with "Bajram Curri" boulevard.

- There will be restrictions on the circulation of heavy tonnage vehicles on the road axis "Shkodër - Lezhë - Milot - Thumanë - Fushë Krujë - Vorë"./ CNA.al
