The Minister of Education, Evis Kushi, disclosed the Government's decisions taken at the last meeting for this year.

Khushi has announced that there will be free books for students from 1st to 3rd grade.

"The goal is to ease the financial burden of families and we have specified that they are textbooks for free use. After students use them for 1 year, they must hand them in for the next year. These will last for 3 years. If they are not used, they can be replaced even after the first or second year. For students from grades 1 to 3, students are given free textbooks every year. We decided this way because for primary school students they are too small to save, but also because there are texts and notes that are difficult to erase. The reason why we have decided for the other classes to be in free use and to be inherited from one generation to another is to learn to maintain and use it from one generation to another", said Kushi. /CNA.al
