The former prime minister, Sali Berisha, during his speech with representatives of Lezha, said that the opposition, representatives of the Democratic Party are people of ideals and prosperity.

He went back in time, remembering the time when he was in charge of the country and said that then the Democratic Party opened Albania's doors to Europe.

He said that SP votes were obtained by theft and crime.

"We are people of ideals, of courage, who have tried to do the best for Albania. We opened Albania's doors to Europe and to prosperity. There was stability, undoubtedly there were flaws, but there was never terror and fear like today. Bandits and gangs ended before the law, economic issues were not prohibited. After they took our votes with crime, with tens and tens of millions of euros in hand, those rights that are left for the representatives in the parliament are sought to be denied at all costs," Berisha said./ CNA
