Jamarbër Malltezi, the son-in-law of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and the head of the Department of Environment in the Democratic Party, has been charged with the "Partizani" file.

Malltez was informed by SPAK prosecutors of the charge "Passive corruption of high state officials or local elected officials", carried out in collaboration.

The news was confirmed by Malltezi himself in a statement to journalists, after the release of SPAK.

He stated that the accusation contained thick lies, while he accused the prosecutors of hiding a decision given by Prime Minister Edi Rama in 2008.

"Edi Rama's prosecutors were terrified, they couldn't speak, they couldn't look you in the eye. They gave an accusation, which contains thick lies. These prosecutors lie so much, they are almost servants of the government. They lied and are to be pitied. Who makes them lie so stupidly, that they don't decide the 2008 plan, signed by Edi Rama. People who lie should just be pitied. From one we have Rama who takes out 4 VKM to steal the property of the owners. On the other hand, we have the construction of nurseries. It's the same charges.
