The writer Ismail Kadare is in favor of the agreement with Italy for the immigrants who will be sheltered in Albania.

This was confirmed by the writer himself in an interview for the Italian " La Stampa ", where he emphasized that he does not see any harm and that the movement of people is normal.

"Albania and Italy are already united: There are 500,000 Albanians living and working in Italy, many Italians have moved to Albania, there are mixed marriages, large companies have been established here, our children have Italian fathers. Where does the problem lie? A deal? Europe is a beautiful neighborhood and everyone wants to come here, that's normal. People have always moved, since ancient times. I don't understand anyone who disagrees", said Kadare.

He also described the discussions that are being held on this agreement as power games.

"These are small things that happen between governments, I don't care about them, protests and power games," said Kadare.

This attitude of Kadare comes at a time when the agreement between the two governments has become a hot topic in Albanian politics./ CNA
