ISHP, appeal to citizens/ Be careful with alcohol during the end of the year

The Institute of Public Health has congratulated Albanians for the end of the year holidays with a call to them.

ISHP appeals to citizens to be careful with alcohol, although the habit of drinking can be difficult to change.

PHI states that everyone should prioritize health first.

"The holidays can be a particularly challenging time to maintain our alcohol-free goals. It can add to the stress we experience due to family and social events where alcohol is consumed and an (unrealistic) expectation that everything will go according to plan. Sometimes there is also a motive for not being strict: it's vacation days and we want to feel good in someone's company. Regardless of the factors that have created it, the holiday drinking habit can be difficult to change. But with the right support and practice, we can learn to deal with challenging situations without the need to drink alcohol and find new ways to naturally enjoy the holidays," reads the PIH message. ./ CNA
