Journalist Klodiana Lala has shared new details regarding Sunday's assassination attempt on a businessman in Elbasan.

Invited to the show "The Unexposed", Lala revealed that businessman Mëhalla was shot six times with bullets as the perpetrator approached the driver's seat.

Lala added that so far a Beretta pistol has been found, which is thought to have been used in the incident.

According to the journalist, investigators suspect that personal conflicts or problems with partners are behind the assassination.

"There have been many reports about this event. Today it is clearer, after reviewing the cameras. An Audi type vehicle, found burned today, owned by one of the victim's companies, was used by the suspected perpetrator. The person waited until Mond Mehalla got out of his office. When he got out near the gas station, which he owned, the Audi vehicle approached him and at one point a person appears who gets out of the driver's seat, has a hood on his head and approaches Mond Mehalla's driver's seat, after he had just entered the car. He tried to walk backwards, but the perpetrator shot him six times. He then left to burn the vehicle.

The vehicle was owned by Mondi Mëhalla's own companies, which in some way directed the investigation team to question the company's employees, partners, and former partners.

A few minutes ago, the Elbasan police were conducting investigative actions in Lezha, a person who has been driving the Audi vehicle in recent days has been identified, he has been identified on Rruga e Kombit.
