A few minutes ago, the American Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, arrived at Rinas airport.

Hundreds of police forces and the head of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku, are on the ground for the security of the high-ranking American official. 

Bliken was received in Rinas by the Albanian Foreign Minister, Igli Hasani, and a few minutes after the meeting, the high official's car left for the Albanian capital. 

His visit to Tirana will last only 8 hours, it is of particular importance as it not only confirms the strategic partnership with the USA, but strengthens Albania's position as a key country for stability and progress in the Western Balkans. A message of support for justice and SPAK is also expected from this visit.

Meanwhile, several roads are blocked in the crossroads. Blinken will have a meeting with President Begaj and the head of the government Edi Rama, which will end with a conference at the Prime Minister's office this afternoon. 

The diplomatic corps has announced that a meeting between Blinken and Duman is expected today./ CNA
