The Constitutional Court, in attack on SPAK
SPAK

The Constitutional Court will attempt to strike SPAK again.

The blow is expected to come to remove SPAK from the part of the vetting it currently performs after the expiration of the vetting period by the relevant committees.

For 3 months, SPAK has been conducting both the KPA and the KPK, i.e. the vetting of prosecutors and judges.

After the first scenario that we reported about the attack being made to remove the internal vetting carried out by the SPAK structure, this was also mentioned by Mr. Dumani.

"We have an internal control due to the provision in the law. We have not been blinded by the vetting bodies, we have registered investigations on our own initiative, mainly for the criminal offense of corruption. These are issues that we have under investigation and we are careful in filtering the vetting decisions," Dumani declared.

Now they are seeking to abolish the “KPA”. They want to strip SPAK of its vetting power over judges and prosecutors who are still in the process. They want to attack SPAK in the Constitutional Court in every way.

That is why the media and certain individuals are being used to say that SPAK has conducted illegal wiretapping, but in fact the wiretapping is legal and on the other hand how can members of the Constitutional Court give a decision on SPAK when they are in fact parties and are in a clear conflict of interest. Moreover, they are also blackmailable.

So, the scheme is clear, they want to attack the vetting that the institution does and they also want to attack the continuation of the vetting by SPAK.

So far,  no one has come forward to provide a single legal fact that SPAK has violated the law,  they simply speculate and accuse, when in fact SPAK has arrested dozens of corrupt officials, brought dozens of criminal groups, and people with criminal records to the dock./ CNA
