The prestigious media, Daily Mail, has dedicated an article to Albanian immigrants who, after going to Great Britain, took control of the drug market there.

The article also states that these Albanians are filling the prisons so fast that the government is sending some home early. 

They base their position on a United Nations report.

It is said that gangs from the Balkan state now exert considerable control over the cocaine supply. According to the article they import the drugs from their counterparts in mainland Europe through ports in south-east England. 

According to the Daly Mail, a judge warned that cannabis farms run by Albanian criminal networks had reached 'epidemic levels' and, in his view, were 'becoming something of an industry'. 

It is also said that 80 Albanian immigrants were sentenced to a total of 130 years in prison during the first four months of the year. Their crimes included murder, rape, gunshot wounding and kidnapping.
