Rebellion begins in the DP / Flamur Noka's resignation is demanded

The former chairman of the DP Youth Forum in Durrës, Artion Barjamaj, has today called on the Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka, to resign from his position in the party. Through a post on social networks, Bajramaj emphasizes that the time has come for decisions to be made in the interest of this political force, beyond personal preferences.

Barjamaj lists the problems created in the DP during this time, while Noka performed the function of Secretary General.

Barjamaj states that Noka has finished his duty and therefore the time has come to leave this important task to someone else who can do it better.

"Mr. Noka, the time has come for you to resign!"

Beyond the history of each contributor to the DP and beyond personal respect, the time has come to think and make decisions in the interest of the political force. The situation is urgent as another decline of the DP is being discussed after these elections, so we must go beyond personal preferences.

The Secretary General of the DP has a key position, especially in cases where there is an elderly leader like Dr. Berisha.

He must:

To be a genuine career politician

Be well acquainted with the DP statute and the laws of the country

To read the party well, to understand the factions, to balance them and to maximally reduce dissatisfaction and divisions

To undertake political initiatives in the interest of the country and the opposition people

The current secretary performed very well in the cause against the deprivation of the party chairman's freedom, but this was the only limit of his achievements.

He failed to perform in:

1. Undertaking political initiatives in the interest of the country. In fact, not even in the interest of the opposition people. During the deprivation of the president's freedom, he was the only one who could undertake political initiatives for:

-Electoral Code

-Pre-election coalitions

We didn't make any progress on this, the costs in terms of mandates are known.

2. Caused significant costs for the DP in the 2023 elections with municipal councils, by not respecting promises from the podium and deciding on appointments. This caused thousands of votes in damage to the candidates.

3. He showed carelessness with the signed contract for American lobbying, giving the regime in power a pretext to attack the opposition just days before the elections.

4. There were no election results in the areas where he worked.

5. He is among the main contributors to the continued closure of the DP.

"While Mayor Berisha is asked to continue the battle against Edi Rama's continued election theft, the Secretary General has finished his duty and therefore the time has come to leave this important task to someone else who can do it better," writes Barjamaj./CNA
