Fevziu tells how he met Naim Murseli: He seemed cultured to me, I was shocked
Blendi Fevziu, journalist

Journalist Blendi Fevziu was shocked by the criminal event that took place in Pristina, where Naim Murseli admitted that he ordered the murder of his wife Liridona Murseli, 30 years old.

In his reaction, in an interview, the journalist Blendi Fevziu said that he had met Naim Murseli some time ago in one of the hotels in Pristina and had left the impression of a cultured and polite man, an Albanian who lived in Sweden and who he loved his country Kosovo very much.

He says that after reading the news about the murder of Liridona by some robbers, he asked for Naim Murseli's number to comfort him, at that moment he was faced with another shocking news.

"A few days ago, I read in the online media a news which was very sad. A young woman had lost her life in front of her two children and her husband in a robbery attempt on the streets of Pristina. It seemed a little strange news for Pristina, which has very high security levels, but I was even more shocked when I saw the photo of the couple. Next to the deceased wife, I saw the photograph of the husband, who was a character I remember greeting somewhere in one of Pristina's hotels a few years ago. I was impressed by a cultured, polite man who told me that he was an immigrant to Sweden and that he loved Kosovo very much and that he knew all the elite of Kosovo. When I saw the boy's picture and felt a great sadness I tried to find his phone number to send him a consolation to tell him to be strong to raise the two orphaned children, to be tried so that they had as little trauma as possible from the death of their mother in front of their eyes", says Fevziu.

The journalist says he was shocked to learn that Naim had paid to kill his wife, as he was apparently a normal person.

Fevziu emphasizes that although the police and justice have not yet spoken, one thing is certain that anyone who commits such an act deserves no other word than criminal.

"But yesterday I read that the Kosovo police had identified the husband as the organizer of the wife's murder. I was very shocked at first because such people who seem normal but have such criminal feelings are so close to us. Although the police and justice have not finally said their word, there is a good chance that this is the real version. So I asked myself. What could a man do to kill his wife in front of two children, to leave them with such great trauma, to take away from their lives a woman, a young girl, who had intended to pass life with him, who was his wife, who had passed happy and sad days no doubt, who had borne him two children and whom they hoped to raise together? There are many reasons why. It is definitely difficult to find a reason, but one thing is certain. Anyone who commits such an act deserves no other word than a criminal. May the young woman rest in peace and I hope that the children get over this drama as soon as possible and with as little suffering as possible", said Fevziu.

Liridona Murseli was shot dead in front of her children. At first, the version was given that she was shot dead by some robbers in Pristina, but then the citizen with the initials GP was arrested as the perpetrator of the murder and Naim Murseli as her orderer.

One person, part of the Kosovo Special Forces, was also arrested for this event./ CNA
