The company S2 ALBANIA, which deals with the scanning of containers at the Port of Durrës, has reacted after the seizure of drugs in the container of 'Bana King'.

The company has stated to the media that the scanner images cannot be manipulated, since as soon as the container is scanned, the images are uploaded to the server and there is no way to change them.

The company suspects that drugs may have been introduced into the container after the scan was done.

“Jemi në dijeni të një incidenti të fundit në të cilin një kontenier mallrash u skanua dhe rezultoi pa probleme në pikën e kontrollit të S2 Albania në Durrës. Pak pas daljes nga pika e kontrollit të S2 Albania, kontenieri u gjet me lëndë narkotike të paligjshme. Ne kemi kryer një hetim paraprak të rrethanave, me konkluzionet e mëposhtme:

Kemi përcaktuar se imazhi i skanuar i kontenierit në fjalë nuk tregon praninë e anomalive.

 Ndonëse nuk mund të flasim për rrethanat pas largimit nga pika jonë e kontrollit, jemi të bindur se asnjë futje kontrabande në kontenier nuk ka ndodhur brenda perimetrit tone te operimit.

Është ngritur një pyetje nëse imazhet e skanuara mund të manipulohen. Imazhet e skanuara shfaqen brenda server (vieëer) në pronësi të S2 Albania, i cili nuk ka aftësinë për ta edituar vetë imazhin. Imazhi i skanuar është imazhi i ruajtur.
