Today, the general secretary of the Freedom Party, Tedi Blushi, has published the document that shows that the mayor Erion Veliaj has removed 6 million euros from the Municipality's budget for education and civil emergencies, to transfer it to the phantom incinerator and under sequestration of Tirana.

According to the document, the Municipality of Tirana claims that it has affected the funds for nurseries, for kindergartens, for schools and for floods in order to continue payments for the incinerator.

2.5 million euros from the budget for preschool education, 1.7 million euros from the budget for secondary education, 1.8 million euros from the Reserve Fund.

Tedi Blushi stated that this criminal act must be urgently administered by SPAK and that it is another proof that Erion Veliaj is the actual owner of the Tirana incinerator.

"Today we confirm with an official document, what we denounced earlier, that Erion Veliaj has recently removed about 6 million euros from the Municipality's budget for education and civil emergencies, to transfer it to the phantom incinerator and under sequestration of Tirana.

Placed with its shoulders against the wall by the official request for transparency and accountability of the Freedom Party, the Municipality of Tirana claims that it has affected the funds for nurseries, for kindergartens, for schools and for floods to continue payments for the incinerator.

In its official response, the Municipality arrogantly asserts that in order to cover the payment of funds for the incinerator, the following were removed:

2.5 million euros from the budget for preschool education

1.7 million euros from the budget for secondary education.

1.8 million euros from the Reserve Fund.

This criminal statement, which must be urgently administered by SPAK, is another proof that Erion Veliaj is the actual owner of the Tirana incinerator.

It is another proof of why no new schools and nurseries are built today in Tirana, why classes continue with two shifts, why there is no heating and the most minimal conditions for education and teaching.

This is the reason why Tirana is flooded after every rainstorm and "dry" for drinking water in all four seasons of the year, why there is no drinking water 24 hours a day from the center to the suburbs, and why the water supply and sewage system is still amortized.

For Erion Veliaj, the de facto owner of the Tirana incinerator, his personal interest and the continuation of this criminal and corrupt affair clearly prevails over the citizen's interest, openly challenging the bodies of the New Justice, who pretend not to see these scandalous evidence and facts.

The decision to continue the theft and waste of taxes for schools, nurseries and floods not only demolishes the false propaganda about investments in education and civil emergencies by the Municipality of Tirana, but this is the next humiliation of Erion Veliaj towards SPAK instead of taking an hour ago the defendant closes his eyes allowing the continuation of payments for the incinerator.

While the New Justice has blocked the bank accounts of Arben Ahmetaj on the run, why does he allow the Municipality of Tirana to pay for the phantom incinerator?

Why these two standards when it is more and more proven that Erion Veliaj, not only devised it, paved the way and is the direct beneficiary of this affair, not only violated the law by bypassing the Municipal Council but also gave 15 ha of construction land to the incinerator without permission. not only plunged the residents of Tirana into debt for 30 years, but also deprived them of the basic right to have drinking water and a dignified education system for their children.

We call on SPAK to urgently administer this letter of the Municipality of Tirana and take the de facto owner of the ghost incinerator, Erion Veliaj, as a defendant.

The Freedom Party is determined to prove the criminal affairs of "Renaissance" with evidence and documents, not with propaganda and conjecture.

In light of this evidence, citizens have long been waiting for impunity to end once and for all.
