Today, the Doxology is being held at the Church of Saint George in the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople, on the occasion of the official visit of His Beatitude, Archbishop of Tirana, Durrës and All Albania, Bishop Joan.
The service is presided over by Archbishop Ioan himself, in the presence of the Metropolitan of Chalcedon, His Grace Emmanuel, Chairman of the Commission for Inter-Orthodox Affairs, as well as senior representatives of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
Archbishop Joan arrived in Istanbul the day before along with the official delegation of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania for his peaceful visit to the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Constantinople.
