The OSCE has strongly condemned the criminal attack on Top Channel.

In a reaction, the OSCE calls for the authorities to clarify the incident as soon as possible and bring the perpetrators to justice.

"We strongly condemn the criminal attack against Top Channel and express our shock and condolences to the family and colleagues of the security officer, Mr. Pal Kola, who lost his life in the line of duty, while guarding the building where he works as a journalist serving public information.

Such a blatant attack on the media is a blatant attack on democracy.  The presence of the OSCE joins the calls of the highest officials of the state for a quick and complete investigation of the incident and expects that the perpetrators and full motives of this attack will be identified and brought to justice", writes the OSCE.

The serious incident happened after midnight. Bullets were fired at the Top Channel building, where the security guard, Pal Kola, was killed.

The police have not yet issued an official statement to further inform the motives of the incident.

Meanwhile, the work to identify or catch the perpetrators continues. / CNA.al
