The President of the Assembly Lindita Nikolla, the Prime Minister Edi Rama, the head of the Municipality Erion Veliaj and other dignitaries paid homage at the ceremony honoring the Martyrs of the Nation.

They have commemorated the heroes who gave their lives for the country's freedom.

"Today May 5, National Martyrs' Day! Glory, honor and eternal gratitude to the unforgettable Martyrs of the Motherland", said Veliaj.

While Nikola wrote through a status on social networks that the sublime sacrifice of the martyrs for freedom is a sacred heritage and among the top legacies of the nation
