Braho at the head of SPAK/ Lala: I was concerned by the level of KLP's

Journalist Klodiana Lala, invited to MCN TV, spoke about the election of the new head of SPAK.

Lala focused on the KLP's questions, which he said were of concern due to their level.

The journalist stated that most of the KLP members were not included in the discussion.

Lala said that the candidates were tense and this tension was increased by the presence of internationals.

 

" The first thing that worried me was the level of the KLP's questions. Mr. Stojani, one of the longest-serving prosecutors, did not ask any questions today. Being among the most active members, I had expectations that they would ask questions about the essence, the way the candidates would lead SPAK, questions about the problems the institution has, so that it is not tied to names, but to exercise criminal prosecution uninfluenced and independent. I did not hear these questions and to be honest, some of the members have the necessary capacity and I did not understand why they remained passive today.

What we felt, all four candidates, in the first moments were tense, had emotions, they face public opinion a little and are not used to the media. The presence of international factors, all the representations were there, their presence was an added dose. Meanwhile, what was understood there, most of the council members, were not included in the discussion. This process should be made transparent and public.
