The Special Court of Appeal dismissed the request of Jamarbër Malltez, the son-in-law of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, this Friday morning.

Malltezi had requested the return of the phone, computers and some other written materials, seized by SPAK during the day of the arrest. 

But the Appeal has upheld the decision of GJKKO and has not accepted their return.

We remind you that the member of the National Council of the DP was put in handcuffs on the evening of October 21 at Rinas airport, after being accused of passive corruption of high state officials and laundering the proceeds of the criminal offense related to the privatization of the former "Partizani" complex. ". 

Former Prime Minister Berisha is accused of passive corruption of high state officials.

SPAK claims that Berisha, in his capacity as prime minister, favored the privatization procedures of the former "Partizani" complex and that Malltezi was the direct beneficiary.

On the land of the former complex "Partizani", Malltezi, as an investor from the company "Homeplan" sh.pk, has carried out constructions and the benefits are calculated in the amount of 672 billion lek or 5 million euros./  CNA
