Twitter encounters technical problems/Limits posts on the platform

Some Twitter users have been unable to post on Twitter as the website has experienced technical problems.

"You are over the daily limit for sending Tweets", was the message that some of the users have received from the social media.

Outage tracking website DownDetector reported the glitch just before 10 p.m.

Elon Musk has been cutting Twitter's workforce in recent months since buying the platform last October for $44 billion.

Last month, the head of Tesla and SpaceX said Twitter had about 2,300 fewer employees.

For months, experts have warned that such deep cuts could cause technical problems, although it is not yet clear whether the reduction in the number of employees was the reason for the outage./ CNA.al
