There are no more doubts, Lazio has chosen a new coach. Marco Baroni has been made official on the blue and white bench.

The well-known Italian technician ended his adventure at Helas Verona and will continue his career at the capital city.

On the Lazio bench, Baroni will succeed the departed Igor Tudor. The 60-year-old ended a positive season at Verona, with whom he finished in 13th place, knowing that a year ago, they only secured survival in the last week.

President Claudio Lotito was a fan of Baroni and his game, so he decided to entrust him with the management of Lazio.

Baroni has signed a two-year contract with Lazio, with the possibility of renewal for another season.

As for the market, the Italian club announced the sale of the fantasist Luis Alberto. The Spanish footballer will continue his career in Qatar, at the Al Duhail team.

From this sale, Lazio has benefited 11 million euros, plus 1 million euros in the form of bonuses.

However, the blue and white club will have to pay 25% of the collected amount to Liverpool, the team from which they bought Luis Alberto in 2016.

So Luis Alberto leaves Lazio after eight seasons, during which he made 307 appearances with 52 goals scored and 79 assists for his teammates.
