Recently, according to Spanish media reports, the German coach has punished one of the stars of his team.

Flick is furious with the French defender, Jules Kounde, due to the latter being four minutes late to training.

"When I say 1:30 in the afternoon, I say 1:30 and not 1:29 or 1:31," Flick is reported to have told his team's defender.

Flick is extremely punctual and wants his players to be on time, whether for training sessions or team meetings.
