A serious event has occurred within the Albanian weightlifting family. A delegation of this sport participated in Bosnia, where the clash between the parties took place.

Through an official communique, the Albanian Weightlifting Federation denounces with names and video, while clarifying what happened.

OFFICIAL COMMUNICATION OF THE WEIGHTLIFTING FEDERATION

" In this status you will find the video of Mr. Dashamir Caika attacking and violating with a knife the coach of the National Team Mr. Bashkim Nikolla and his athlete Mr. Bekim Gripshi.

In that activity, Mr. Bashkim was the head of the delegation for the activity in Bosnia. After Mr. Dashamir asked to be part of this activity with sportsmen who did not deserve it and the federation opposed this request.

Mr. Dashamir attacked Bashkim Nikolla and Bekim Gripshin with a knife, thinking that Mr. Nikolla refused his request.

We inform the public opinion that these videos will be presented on Monday to the Prosecutor's Office and we ask the justice bodies to take measures regarding this very serious issue.

We inform Mr. Rakip Suli in the capacity of the Mayor of Kamez, the Olympic Committee and its President Mr. Fidel Yili and the competent bodies for this matter.

These violent, incriminated and malicious people should take their hands off the sport and our country" .
