VIDEO/ Scandal in the Premier League, see the red card for Arsenal

An episode recorded in the Premier League challenge, between Arsenal and Brighton, has caused great controversy.

In the 49th minute, the midfielder of the "gunners", Declan Rice, was punished with a red card, leaving his team with 10 players.

The Brighton player oversteps the bounds by making a hard tackle to knock Rice to the ground, with no intention of catching the ball and just venting his anger at the Arsenal player.

When everyone expected the color of the card for the Brighton player, the referee surprised everyone. Not only does he not give a card to the Brighton player, but he shows the red card to Rice, who earlier had a yellow card.

The match between Arsenal and Brighton ended in a 1-1 draw.
