Spectacular Inter destroys Atalanta with 4 goals


Inter look to be in exceptional form at the start of the season. The champions of Italy destroyed Atalanta with deep numbers 4-0, in the game valid for the third week in Serie A. A result that confirms that Inter is again the team to beat this season in Italy.

Inzagit's Zikaltre took the lead in the third minute after an own goal by Berat Gjimshit, who was unlucky and sent the ball into the net of his own goal, from the deflection of Turam's shot.

Inter came close to the second goal in the eighth minute, when after taking the free kick, Çalhanoglu hit the post.

The home team's lead was doubled in the tenth minute thanks to a super goal scored by Nikolo Barela, who did not give the opposing goalkeeper a chance to react, to make the score 2-0.

Atalanta on the other hand had two good scoring opportunities with Zapakosta and Retegi, but they failed to find the net.

The locals did not stop there and in the second half managed to score two more goals, to seal the deep victory with a score of 4-0.

The author of both goals was the Frenchman Markus Turam, who first scored in the 47th minute for the result 3-0, while in the 56th minute he sealed the meeting with the fourth goal. 

After this victory, Inter has accumulated seven points and currently holds the lead in Serie A.
