Ukraine confirms participation in the qualifications for "EURO 2024"

The national team of Ukraine will compete for the European Championship 2024. The president of the Football Federation of Ukraine, Andriy Pavelko, announced the news. He shared on his social networks a photo of the national team, as he confirmed the participation in the qualifiers for the European Championship.

"Thank you for the prompt response and clear explanation of the situation! I follow the text received from the Ministry:

"Taking into account the decision of the Executive Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) dated 27.05.2022 on the withdrawal of the Ukrainian and Belarusian football teams in the draw of international competitions under the auspices of the organization, implementing point 5 of the above-mentioned order, the structural units of the Ministry of Youth Sports, whose authority is assigned to coordinate the development of football in the country, will monitor the participation of Ukrainian teams in international competitions, in which Belarusian teams will also participate.

In case of possible cases of face-to-face meetings of the Ukrainian and Belarusian football teams, the requirements of point 1 of the mentioned order of the Ministry of Youth and Sports should be applied to resolve issues related to further participation in competitions.
