"We showed them a bunch of idiots", Milan's starter explodes after the draw with Roma: We had the victory in our pocket

Milan was stopped only at the end by Rome, with the yellow-reds who took the victory from the hands of the Reds and Blacks by drawing in "San Siro" with the result 2-2.

Interviewed after the match by the "DAZN" network, Davide Calabria, Milan's captain, analyzed this result in a nervous tone.

"We didn't think we had won the game until the 87th minute, as we had really put in a great performance up until that point. But the way we let it go at the end and blew two points, it was a reaction from a bunch of idiots. We knew that Roma could only hurt us in set pieces, but that's where we went wrong and that's something unforgivable for us. It was a victory that we had in our pocket and such points are very expensive. Why this problem? We brand in different ways, sometimes in the area and sometimes individually. But even though we had prepared for every situation, we made a mistake again".
