"We were punished at the best moment, we will fix the mistakes",

Vllaznia coach Migen Memelli spoke at the press conference after the loss to Linfield in the Conference League.

"We did things well in the first half, we were a careful team. But what we didn't do well in the second half is that we lost a bit of the tempo of the match and were punished at our best moment when we were trying to manage the opponent. From a game perspective, we made individual mistakes that we will try to fix in the coming days. We believe that it is a result that keeps us in the game and we hope that in the match in Shkodër we will do our best to re-enter the game because it is a result with a two-goal difference. In Shkodër we will do our best to move forward.

We cannot prejudge what comes out of the match. They are players and mistakes are made. We as a staff have to fix them. Besides that, we have to manage the emotional side now and recover energy for the second match in Shkodër.

I definitely expect more from the team, this is the first official match. The team needs recognition, the players need variety for each other on the field and I believe we will do better.

This is the result that keeps us in the game and I don't want to comment anymore that such a result would be against us if we were to go with three goals in the second leg.

Mistakes happen to all of us, me first and so on. I believe that these are things that we have to fix with the team and move forward together. We are not here to point the finger at anyone, I see the problem first in myself, things need to be fixed individually and as a group.

Getting to know the players and the team, I believe we will do things better in the future, even though we expect to strengthen the team more. Time has not been in favor.
