The coach of Greece tells why he left Andreas Ndoji at home

Andreas Ndoji chose to reject Albania's invitation and choose Greece again. The Olympiakos defender still has to wait to make his debut with the Hellenes, as the latter opted to leave him at home again for the June games.

Asked by Greek journalists, the coach of their national team, Gustavo Poyet, has stated that Ndoji is an alternative for continuity, but for now it was judged that he should stay at home, writes "Sport Ekpsres".

"We had a wider list at the start of 34 players and Ndoi was on that list. We talked and I explained the situation to him.

However, it is in my option, let's be calm. I watched 10 games of Olympiakos this year and I saw a different face in defense, I saw Ndoja and other players. I know I can count on them, it's not like they ended it with the National Team," said Gustavo Poyet.
