The coach of Georgia, Willy Sagnol, stated on the eve of the challenge against Albania in the League of Nations that he hopes the team will succeed.

He said in the media conference that he intends for the team not to make the same mistakes as against Ukraine, as that is the only way they can win against the "red girls".

"We had a bad start to the match against Ukraine and that is one of the reasons for the failure. We hope that the situation will improve in the match against Albania. We had some problems on our left wing against Ukraine and it was the same in part of the match against the Czech Republic" - he said. 

When asked who he will activate instead of Kochorashvili, the author of the goal of Georgia's victory over Albania in "Air Albania", but who will be absent this Monday, Sagnol stated that he does not intend to reveal the name in words.

"I have made the decision but you will see on Monday. We could have won the match against Ukraine and the tactical changes are not important according to me at this point. The main thing is to start the match better against Albania and fulfill the tasks. We are the same team that achieved success in EURO 2024. It is necessary to maintain those values, discipline and keep moving forward" - declared Sagnol. 

Georgia - Albania will face each other this Monday, starting from 18:00 in Tbilisi, a meeting of the fourth round of the League of Nations for both teams./CNA
