"Tirana the perfect finish, thank you Mourinho", a starter parted ways with Roma

Henrik Mikhitarian has made official his departure from Rome through an emotional post on social networks. The 33-year-old Armenian, part of the Italian club since 2019, did not renew and will move to Inter as a free player.

The beautiful adventure with the yellow and red ended with the victory of the Conference League in the final of May 25 against Feyenoord in "Air Albania", Tirana. The offensive midfielder did not spare the nice words for Jose Mourinho.

" Dear yellow fans. Roma is truly a unique club. From the first day I came here to the Conference League final and beyond, your support has been incredible and I will always be very proud of it.

When I wore this shirt for the first time, I had one goal: to make this club win and make the fantastic fans happy: objective achieved in Tirana! That triumph was the perfect ending to the last 3 years at Roma.

Now it's time to say goodbye. I want to thank all the people who work at the club for the special relationship built together over the years.

A big thank you to our technical staff and in particular to Mr. Mourinho, for the trust and attention towards me and for the extraordinary motivations he gave me as a player.

I gave everything for Roma on and off the pitch. It was a great honor to play here and I will never forget the wonderful moments we had together.
