The Football Federation in North Macedonia has reacted to the striker of Albania, Mirlind Daku, and demands punishment.

"We express our deep concern and condemn the nationalist calls of the Albanian footballer Mirlind Daku directed against the Macedonian state after yesterday's match between Croatia and Albania in the European Championship.

Such behavior is unacceptable and contrary to the basic values ??of sport and mutual respect that football promotes.

Sport, especially football, is the basis of cooperation and respect between different nations.

Nationalist rhetoric, however, undermines these principles, fostering division and hostility between fans and societies.

The political principles are included in the regulations of international associations such as FIFA and UEFA. The Macedonian Football Federation will send an official letter to UEFA for this scandalous behavior.
