Serbia threatens UEFA: We will leave the European Championship if the Albanians

The Serbian Football Federation demands punishments for Albania and Croatia, because of the fans, after the match between the two national teams ended in a 2-2 draw.

The General Secretary of the Serbian Federation, Jovan Surbatovic, has said that the fans of the two national teams have sung in chorus against Serbia.

According to him, UEFA should punish the two national teams. The Serbian Federation even goes so far as to threaten the highest football institution in Europe, that if Albania and Croatia are not punished, then Serbia will leave the European Championship.

"This is scandalous. The federation will ask UEFA to take sanctions. The most severe punishments are needed so that it does not happen again. We will demand that UEFA severely punish Albania and Croatia. We will not participate in the European competition unless the perpetrators are punished. We expect rigorous punishments", said Surbatovic.

Surbatovic, appreciated the Serbian fans as peaceful and they have had exemplary behavior in the European. The complaint from the Serbs about the fans of Albania and Croatia seems absurd, knowing that only a few days ago, their fans were involved in a massive fight with those of England.

Also, the Serbian fans in the stadium did not spare calls and banners against Kosovo. We also remember that Serbia was punished by UEFA for unsportsmanlike behavior of fans inside the stadium, cases which Jovan Surbatovic considers isolated.

This threat to UEFA may cause problems for the Serbian Federation in the future, while a fine is not excluded.
