Super goal against Scotland, Shaqiri sets a world record

Although the years pass, Xherdan Shaqiri continues to be decisive for Switzerland. The attacker of Albanian origin was the protagonist with a goal in the second challenge of the group, against Scotland, where the Helvetians drew with the result 1-1.

In the 26th minute, the 32-year-old footballer, with a supergoal from outside the area, stopped the ball at the end of the net, giving the opposing goalkeeper no chance to react.

The goal scored against Scotland also set a historical record for Shaqiri. The striker became the first player to score in the last three Europeans and World Cups.

And that incredible run of goals in major tournaments, six in a row, was extended on Wednesday against Scotland in Cologne.

Shaqiri seems to have no intention of stopping and wants to be an absolute protagonist with Switzerland even in this European, which may very well be his last, looking at the years on his shoulder.
