Tare gets ready for Milan, "marks" the first approach

Igli Tare is expected to be the new sporting director of Milan. Despite the fact that the decision to appoint the new director has been postponed beyond the initial deadline, the profile of the former captain of the Albanian national team continues to remain among the most preferred by the leaders of the red and black club.

According to "La Gazzetta dello Sport", after a meeting held a few days ago between Igli Tare and Milan's delegated administrator, Giorgio Furlani, the parties have maintained constant contact.

It is reported that a second meeting between them is expected to be scheduled in the coming days to continue discussions regarding the possibility of cooperation.

At this stage, a concrete date for the next meeting has not yet been set, but there is a possibility that it will take place soon.

This is due to the need for the club to have a sports director appointed before the end of the current season, so that work on building the team for the next edition can begin on time. The objective is for the new sports director to be operational by mid-May.

On the other hand, Igli Tare seems to have started to draft his ideas for Milan's sporting project. If his appointment is confirmed, one of the first moves could be to approach German striker Jonathan Burkard.

The 24-year-old Mainz player has scored 16 goals this season and has represented Germany at various national team levels.

His presence on the list of targets shows that Tare is actively involved in the planning of the transfer market, awaiting an official decision from Milan's management.
