Albania U-21/ Footballers also from Superior, coach Bushi announces the list of players for the two September challenges

The U-21 national team will start training on Sunday to prepare for the two friendly matches against Croatia U-20 and North Macedonia U-20.

Coach Alban Bushi has meanwhile announced the list with the names of 26 players invited for these two challenges, with most of them active in foreign clubs, while 9 of them play with Albanian championship clubs.

The basis of the group are players who are part of the U-21 and U-19 national teams, where names such as Mario Mitaj, Adrion Pajaziti, Medon Berisha, Eljon Toçi, Marcelino Preka, etc. stand out.

The red and black team will gather in Durrës and then on September 21 will travel to Croatia, where they will play two friendly tests. This program change came after the invitation of the Croatian Football Federation to organize these friendlies and after it was agreed between the Albanian Football Federation and the Football Federation of North Macedonia.

On September 23, Albania U-20 will play the first challenge with North Macedonia U-20. This match will be played at the Cakovec stadium starting at 16:30.

Two days later, on September 25 at 16:30, the second test of Albania U-20 against Croatia U-20 will be played in this stadium. With this match, the 8-day gathering of the Red and Black National team with Coach Bushi and his technical staff will be closed, who will have the opportunity to closely see the condition of the players of this age group, as well as observe the young footballers who can be part of the team for the first time. Matches with teams like Croatia and North Macedonia are very valuable tests that will help the red and black team to consolidate.
