Albania U-19 shines against Azerbaijan, wins with a "poker" of goals

Albania U-19 girls triumphed 4-0 over Azerbaijan, a valuable challenge for the second round of the U-19 European Championship. The double of Jhesika Ndoj and Rosela Vasa gave the victory to the red and black team, led by coach Luçije Gjini.

The Albanian coach fielded this lineup: Rajmonda Spahiu (GK), Herta Hasaj, Angela Nika, Stiljana Guga, Stela Vata, Klesta Ago, Rosela Vasa, Rigela Hysa, Era Methoxha, Xhesika Ndoj (c), Adela Qose.

The Albanian national team dominated from the start of the match, creating numerous scoring chances. The advantage came in the 22nd minute with a goal from captain Jessica Ndoj, while the team controlled the game until the end of the first half.

In the second half, Albania started furiously and Ndoj scored the second goal for the red and black girls in the 47th minute. The girls led by Gjini continued at a high pace, while Rosela Vasa scored twice in a row, in minutes 56' and 69', sealing the final score 4-0. A well-deserved victory for the U-19 National Team, which showed character and determination in this challenge.

Albania U-19 will play the third and final match of this round on February 24 against Northern Ireland. The match will be played at the 'Egnatia Arena' stadium at 14:30 and admission will be free.
