Albania-Latvia, the arbitrators who will decide justice are revealed

UEFA has appointed a Polish referee team for the match between Albania and Latvia at “Air Albania”. The head referee will be Damian Sylwestrzak, assisted by assistants Pavel Sokolni?ki and Adam Karasevic.

The 33-year-old referee has only 4 international matches in his career and has no precedents with the National Team, but has refereed teams from Kosovo such as Drita and Balkan, both of which have lost under his leadership.

Sylwestrzak is known for his strict style, not tolerating rough play and frequent handing out of cards.

As for the match, a draw or loss would take Albania away from the World Cup objective. The latest statistics, however, provide optimism, as the Rossoneri have two wins, two draws and only one loss in their last five matches.

The victory over Gibraltar in the friendly and the triumph over Andorra in the qualifiers are positive signals for the team. The only objective remains the victory in the match against Latvia.
