Sinan Idrizi is undoubtedly one of the most controversial managers of Albanian clubs. He approached Flamurtari with excitement, promising that he would climb the Red and Blacks to the top of Albanian football, but not only did he not progress, but he plunged this legendary club into the lowest category.

In the year, one of the most famous businessmen in Turkey filed a criminal complaint in Istanbul against Idrizi for a fraud worth 3.2 million euros for the purchase of a concession company in Albania. 

Idrizi, i njohur si sponsor i skuadrës së Flamurtarit dhe partneri i përzgjedhur nga qeveria shqiptare për pronësinë e kompanisë ajrore, Air Albania, u akuzua për mashtrim nga Adnan Polat, një nga biznesmenët më të famshëm turq dhe zëvendëspresident i skuadrës së futbollit Gallatasarajt, në lidhje me marrjen e një shume prej 3.2 milionë eurosh në vitin 2017 nën premtimin e blerjes së kompanisë koncesionare GFI Albania.

Gazeta Hyriet, një nga më të mëdhatë në Turqi, raportoi asokohe se Idrizi kishte refuzuar të kthejë paratë e marra për blerjen e kompanisë, e cila nuk është realizuar.
