The challenge against Slovenia, where Portugal secured qualification for the quarter-finals of the European Championship, produced mixed emotions for Lusitanian forward Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 39-year-old revealed, among other things, that this will be the last European for him with Portugal's jersey.

"Of course this will be my last European Championship. I am not affected by it, but by enthusiasm. I felt sorry for the fans. I will always give my best for this shirt, whether I fail or not. I will do this for the rest of my life, because you have to take that responsibility ," Ronaldo concluded.

The hero of Portugal's qualification, Diogo Costa, appeared very happy for this qualification. The goalkeeper described the match against Slovenia as the best in his life.

Kosta also revealed that he had studied all of Slovenia's players for penalty kicks.
