The shameful gesture, Bellingham risks severe punishment

Jude Bellingham was England's hero against Slovakia, but the player risks being absent for the next match, in the quarter-finals of the European Championship, against Switzerland.

UEFA has opened an investigation against the midfielder, for the shameful gesture made after the goal of the draw with Slovakia.

The player was filmed making an obscene gesture towards the stands. Bellingham stated that the gesture was for some of his friends in the stands and not for the opponents.

UEFA is waiting for the match report from the referee, to then make a final decision. A lack of Bellingham against Switzerland would open many problems for England, due to the importance of this footballer in the team.
