Roma-Juventus, midfielder swap planned

Juventus and Roma are considering a swap deal between Weston McKennie and Bryan Cristante. The Bianconeri want to avoid McKennie leaving on a free transfer next summer and are targeting the Italian midfielder to boost the national team's squad.

Cristante is 30, four years older than McKennie, and is considered an experienced player who can bring stability. On the other hand, Roma would secure a midfielder who can adapt to several roles.

McKennie was close to renewing with Juventus before the departure of sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli, but high financial demands stalled the deal.

Currently, the clubs are negotiating terms and there is still no final agreement. The situation is open and developments are expected in the coming days.
