Robin Krasniqi makes his dream come true, he is declared champion in the center of Pristina

Kosovar boxer Robin Haxhi Krasniqi has won the WBC Silver title in the light heavyweight category.

After a full nine rounds of boxing at the "Fadil Vokrri" stadium, Krasniqi defeated the French boxer Nadjib Mohammedi, KosovaPress reports.

Krasniqi won the bout after the judges disqualified Mohammed for back-to-back fouls, even though he was leading on points.

Krasniqi, after the super night boxing match that took place at the "Fadil Vokrri" stadium in Prishtina, thanked the fans for their support and added that tonight he realized his dream.

"I thank everyone for supporting me for 18 years, I realized my dream, I kept my promise. I am always yours, I believe that in two years you will see me and I will remain strong", he emphasized.

Najib Mohammed also thanked Krasniqi and emphasized that: "See you in the return match".

"Thank you very much Kosovo, thank you very much God, thank you very much Robin Krasniqi. See you in the return match, of course there will be a return match", he said.
