Mission accomplished for Charles Leclerc, who finished the official trials for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on pole position for the fourth year in a row.

The Ferrari driver recorded the fastest time of 1 minute 41 seconds and 365 thousandths.

Oscar Piastri of the McLaren car was behind him, but with 321 thousandths behind and in third place was the other Ferrari pilot, Carlos Sainz, with 440 thousandths behind Leclerc.

As for Max Verstappen, the Red Bull pilot ended these tests in sixth place, Lewis Hamilton in Mercedes in seventh place and Alonso in the Aston Martin car in eighth place.
