President Duka pays historic visit to Bujanovac

The President of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, made a historic visit to the municipality of Bujanovac, as part of the children's football tournament taking place in the Presheva Valley with the support of the Albanian Football Federation.

During this visit, President Duka was accompanied by the member of the Executive Committee of the Albanian Football Association, Anila Basha, and the Ambassador of Albania to Serbia, Bardhyl Canaj. They were welcomed in a friendly meeting by the Mayor of Bujanovac, Arbër Pajaziti, where representatives of the Albanian clubs “Tërnoci” and “Besa” were also present, as well as representatives of the local media.

During the meeting, President Duka was closely acquainted with the current situation of football in this area, as well as the needs for its further development. Support was requested from the Albanian Football Association to increase capacities in the training of coaches and the supply of material resources for clubs, while one of the main topics was the improvement of sports infrastructure in this community.

President Duka confirmed the AFF's commitment to continue supporting similar tournaments in the future, emphasizing the importance of these initiatives for the activation of children and the development of football at the community level.

For his part, the Mayor of Bujanovac, Arbër Pajaziti, thanked the Albanian Football Association for its concrete contribution in organizing this activity, describing it as an initiative with great sporting and social values that strengthens cooperation and the spirit of unity through sport.

The meeting also mentioned the figure of the captain of the Albanian National Team, Berat Gjimshiti, originally from Tërnoci, who is an example of inspiration for children of the Presheva Valley who dream of following the path of sports.
