Yesterday, Gerard Pique said goodbye as a Barcelona player to his fans at Camp Nou, in the match against Almeria. The Spanish defender surprised with his sudden decision during the week, but the fans respected him in the best possible way by filling the stadium in what was his last challenge in the Catalan shirt.

One of the most emotional moments of the evening was when Pike walked around the stadium at the end of the challenge and then took the microphone for a short speech.

"Sometimes, to love is to let go. A relationship with so much love between Barcelona and me, I think it was time to have some space between us.

I'm sure I'll be back to stay here in the future. I was born here and I will die here," Pike said excitedly amid cheers from the crowd in the stadium.
