Coach Gennaro Gattuso revealed the reason for the exclusion of Ivan Perisic from the first team of Hajduk Split, for the championship match against Lokomotiva Zagreb.

According to him, the attacker had asked to leave and that was the reason why he was left out.

 "20 days ago, Perisic came to my office and told me that he wanted to leave the club. If someone doesn't want to stay, then I have to respect that. That goes for him and the rest of the team.
