There are no doubts, Atletico make the purchase of the Frenchman from Barcelona official

A day after Joan Laporta, president of Barcelona, ??announced the reaching of an agreement with Atlético de Madrid for the card of Antoine Griezmann, comes the official announcement from the red and white club: the Frenchman becomes a player of Atlético, a team with which he has signed until June 2026.

"In 304 official matches as a red and white, Griezmann has provided 59 assists and scored 144 goals, becoming the fourth best scorer in our history...", among other things, Atlético's statement says.

The agreement between the clubs was reached for 20 million euros plus another four million in the form of bonuses.

As for the terms of Griezmann's new contract with Atlético, the player will take a pay cut again (he first cut it when he returned on loan in the summer of 2021) and will receive around seven million euros per season.
