Another investment in infrastructure, the Duke inspects the works

The Football Federation and the Municipality of Kamëz have immediately begun cooperation on the construction of the new field in Valias, as part of the Albanian Football Federation's "100 Fields" project.

As part of this major investment, President Armand Duka paid a visit to Valias, where he got to know the environment where the field will be built and closely inspected the works.

The head of the Albanian football government was accompanied on this visit by the mayor of Kamza, Rakip Suli, and MP Lindita Nikolla.

In his speech, President Duka thanked the Municipality of Kamza for their cooperation and emphasized the importance of investing in sports fields for children. He stated that the main objective is education through sports and increasing the number of children who play football. President Duka underlined that the Albanian Football Association is open to cooperating with municipalities and the private sector to build more sports fields throughout the country.

"Thank you for your cooperation. We have been talking about this for a long time and have started the project. In fact, Kamza on the map of sports grounds is one of the most developed areas because we have a former center of the National teams with three fields and now we have transferred it to the management of children's football to play all the children of the area to train and hold matches.

With this investment, even more will be reflected here. Now our objective is to have more children playing football. Ours, ours and everyone's because football is first and foremost education, then competition. We prioritize education more.

I truly thank you for collaborating on this sports field and we are undoubtedly open to continuing and having even more, and to include this example in Tirana as well, because to be honest, Tirana, which has the highest density, but also Kamza, which is a municipality with a large population, has a lack of inventory of sports fields.

I don't know, maybe because the land costs less here, or because the mayor is more skilled here, I don't know, but that's the fact. We are ready with you, of course, with any type of local unit, but not only, even with private companies, it's enough to build sports fields.

"We are not asking for any management rights, just to build sports fields, make them available to children, educate football players and produce football players," said President Duka.
